Real AI is an Android application developed by Oblivionburn that aims to explore the field of Natural Language Processing in Artificial Intelligence. It is not intended for amusement, but rather as a tool for learning and experimentation. The program starts with no prior knowledge and learns through the process of exchange and repetition, similar to how a child learns to speak.
Under the hood, the program uses a mix of condition-based learning, procedural generation of sentences/questions, and relational queries based on weighted 'topic' identifiers. It can create its own original statements and questions, and has an internal dialogue feedback loop which makes it feel like it is really 'thinking'.
It is worth noting that the program was written with the Roman Alphabet and whole sentences in mind, meaning that proper punctuation and capitalization are necessary for effective communication with the AI. Real AI also provides a forum for sharing brains, which is the "Brain" folder generated by the app in internal memory.
